It's all Mine mi Amore ...

Tastes like: Dry. Hints of Citrus. Apricot. White Flowers. Melon. Mandarin. Lime. Crunchy Pear. Aromatic Herbs. Hawthorn. Fresh.

One of our first imports and a wine we well and truly fell in love with. It's tale which has all the romance of a true Italian love story.

Hailing from an ambitious project that encompasses all the characteristics of the region. It was born from a courageous woman, who wanted to create a one-of-a-kind wine that no one had ever thought of until now. Bellissimo.

Giusi Scaccuto Cabella's project is called Mine Wine, a name that says a lot about how much this wine completely represents her dream.

Mine Gavi DOCG 2019 is a Piedmontese white, which comes from 11 sustainable vineyard plots composed of the alternation of marly, calcareous and clayey soils, marked by totally different microclimates.

"I want to make a Gavi that is mine in all respects” says Giusi, “and that contains the true soul of these 11 lands with very different characteristics, both in terms of climate, altitude and soil composition.

“I could not have made this wine if these small artisans who produce grapes with particular attention were not present. They are not certified organic, but they work in compliance with sustainability and biodiversity.

“They are all family-run vineyards that do not produce wine or do not vinify the entire production, they are the history and the richness of this territory: I have done nothing but draw on their experience and select the best grapes for my wine."

Unique in the area: no one had ever brought together such beautiful artisan vines from 11 DOCG terroirs and transformed this into a stunning single label. We are sure you will taste the love and passion poured into the unique bottle.

Another stella wine from Chilled and Tannin. Full bodied and yet very smooth to drink. No nasty after tannin tastes just blended beautifully. Thank you Chilled and Tannin for another spectacular wine.

Gem of a wine

Really enjoyable bottle - and loved by the wife who has developed a bad sensitivity to sulphites.
