Lovely zesty flavours, hints of gooseberry and citrus fruits without ever being sharp. We will definitely buy again and great value.

Visited Fishworks Restaurant in Covent garden who have Wild River Sauvignon Blanc
which blends very well with their fish.
Recommend it.

Lovely balance, thoroughly enjoyed it

The team were kind enough to look out the 2022 vintage which I think is the best and send it to me.

Carignan is often used as part of a mix of grapes, and Carignan on its own used to be a wine to avoid. This wine is neither of those. It's fruity, long in the mouth and quite full bodied for its strength (12.5). We drank it with pan-fried pork chops, but it's tasty enough to drink on its own, too.

Cracking selection, quality and service!

This is a classic Saint Emilion for which I would expect to pay a lot more.
As soon as the cork is removed the classic Bordeaux nose comes out to greet you like an old friend!
In the glass it lingers as though it is reluctant to move - as though it has no intention to ever leave the glass.... The taste? Well, the tasting notes above are spot on.
It certainly enhanced our Christmas Day joint of beef immensely.

The only disappointment? Rumour has it the boys at Chilled n'Tannin have run out of stock.... get your little electric wagon charged up and get over there and fill it up with more supplies - please!!
