Our very own and a proper little gem from Wales, and a cracking debut at that. Blood sweat and tears went into this wine from us all. Hansel-Bâch 2024 comes from the inaugural vintage of a sunny Vale of Glamorgan vineyard, made with a light touch and a clear focus on drinkability.

A low-intervention red blending Rondo and Cabernet Cortis grown in Llanbethery, hand-picked and vinified by the brilliant Mountain People Wine over in Monmouthshire. Think light-bodied, juicy and full of charm rather than big and brooding. There’s fresh red berry fruit, a gentle herbal edge and just enough grip to keep things interesting.

This is the kind of red you happily chill for 20 minutes, crack open midweek, and suddenly realise the bottle’s disappeared far quicker than planned. Super gluggable, quietly characterful, and proudly Welsh.

Vegan-friendly, low SO₂, and made for good times rather than overthinking.

People thought we were mad planting a vineyard in South Wales, but something we and the monks from times gone by in Llancarfan knew otherwise.
