The Rioja region is famed for its thought-provoking, super-aged red wines so it’s rather easy to overlook fun, frivolous and youthful examples like this one!
All the grapes come from the village of Aldenueva where Tempranillo vines of between 50 and 100 years old on the surrounding vineyard plots grow at a variety of altitudes - which all makes for a juice with plenty of complexity.
Oodles of sweet, perfumed red fruit and mouth-watering freshness make this super vegan vino muy muy drinkable! A great bargain weekday bottle or ideal for BBQ quaffing at the weekend.
