Situated in the Douro Valley and founded in the mid-19th century, Quinta da Silveira is now a 6th generation family producer with Manuel Maria Martinho running the winery alongside winemaker Rodrigo Martins. They use traditional methods including grapes crushed by feet and fermented in traditional open tanks known as ‘lagares’.
