Owner Riccardo Lepri took over the estate from his grandfather Enos in 2001. Alongside winemaker Fabrizio Moltard, they decided to focus on producing mainly white wines, unusual for Tuscany's up-and-coming Maremma region.
Following an organic approach, they make wines with concentrated flavours that have really generated interest amongst critics.
