La Cadence Rouge is a French red made from the Carignan grape. Carignan is lesser known than its usual planting buddies Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, but just because it is less famous, doesn't mean it is not fabulous! Carignan based wines like the La Cadence are starting to become more popular because they provide a bit of rustic charm in a bottle. They are delicious uncomplicated reds that have ripe fruit character with subtle sweet spices.
We recommend that you pair this wine with a hearty stew and fireplace musings.
