A curious blend indeed, this wonderful Languedoc wine is a canny combination of 60% Petit Verdot, 40% Malbec, taken from the garrigue-strewn foothills of the Black Mountains and sunny Limoux.
The Petit Verdot adds alluring exotic flavours and the Malbec brings the fruit and structure to the party. A super sipper and unlike any other wine in the Chilled & Tannin range.
The team at Calmel & Joseph farm much of their own plots sustainably and have lower intervention at the heart of what they do, so this is truly a bodacious wine with a conscience!
And the motto on the back of the label sums up their hands of approach; "ici le hasard a bon goût" (a.k.a. Whatever you choose, it'll be good!)
