Riojan Masterpiece

The Izadi Blanco is made from the star grape among Rioja white varieties, the Viura, and and lush mix of Riojan white grapes such as Malvasía, Garnacha Blanca, Maturana, Tempranillo or Torrontés. It ferments in new oak barrels and ages in them for three months in contact with its lees and frequently undergoes battonage.
But have no fear regarding the oak: it never detracts from the fruit, but bestows complexity and with this white you'll enjoy an extremely fresh wine, with a very clean nose and very elegant unctuosity. It's an open and refined wine that has a touch of sweetness, no doubt supplied by the Malvasía.
