We have another stunning Welsh wine coming from White Castle vineyard near Abergavenny. Owned by Robb and Nicola Merchant, White Castle is brimming with life and character much like their wines. Having purchased the small holding in 1995 they realised their dream of planting vines in 2009. Now they have over 7000 vines basking in the Welsh sun which result in award-winning wines.
If you are a fan of aromatic white wines then this will certainly tickle your fancy - its aroma quite literally jumps from the glass and the palate absolutely mouthwatering.
This is a brilliant example of some of the great wine coming out of Wales at the moment and was a highlight of our last grand tasting event, where Robb himself was pouring it for guests.
