Located a pudding stone’s throw from Châteauneuf-du-Pape this domaine makes round, ripe and rapturous wines of exceptional quality.
Yields are half the average for the Rhone so the quality is beyond question. It’s a complex blend of Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes which come from 50 year old vines and the wine is aged in old barrels from Burgundy for over a year… you’d be forgiven for thinking it is Chateauneuf du Pape in disguise!
