The Chilled & Tannin Decanter 

We have teamed up with our friends at Bath Aqua Glass to design and produce our very own Decanter. These are hand crafted free blown decanters - meaning that every one will be totally unique. 

We have chosen this design as it reflects the original design of free blown Champagne bottles which were incidentally first designed and created in Great Britain. This needed a bottle that was robust enough for fermented cider. These were called globe and shaft bottles (the globe being the base and the neck the shaft). This transitioned to France and became known as 'Verre Anglais'.

So we thought what better way to let your wine breath than in a decanter designed with the essence of wine history in their design. 

At Chilled & Tannin we always like to try and let our wine breathe for at least an hour (unless it's been one of those days) so you get the best from every bottle.

Each decanter is handmade to order and will be dispatched from the Bath Aqua Glass factory with a certificate of authenticity. Please allow 7-14 days for delivery, If you you need it quicker than this, then drop us a message and we will see what we can do.
