Bodegas Ochoa is one of Navarra's most historic family wineries, with generations of the Ochoa family farming and making wine in Olite. The Origen range celebrates a tradition started by their grandfather Adriano, who made a special wine each year to share with his closest friends—a tradition that continues with this wine today. 

The 2022 vintage is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Merlot and Graciano, with each variety fermented separately using the winery's own yeasts before spending nine months in seasoned French and American oak barrels. Each grape contributes its own personality, creating a wine that's generous, balanced and full of character. 

Expect generous black fruit, warming baking spices, hints of cocoa and coffee, all lifted by bright acidity and a wonderfully fresh finish. It's polished without feeling overworked and has that lovely combination of ripe fruit and savoury spice that makes a great Crianza so effortlessly drinkable. 

This absolutely comes alive with tapas, grilled pork, smoky barbecue dishes, hearty stews or a long, relaxed evening around the table.
