What is not to love about this full bodied bottle. This grape has found the ideal conditions to express itself. It has a strong personality, much like Rhod. It has intriguing Tannins and you get the feeling it really is representing the rugged soil of Uruguay. We really think it would grace any table.
What also makes this wine totally bodacious is that Bodega Garzón are a patchwork quilt of 1,150 individual plots of around 0.2 hectares in size, each plot carefully chosen for a specific variety according to its soil and microclimate. The winery is specially designed to operate as sustainably as possible, and is the first winery outside North America to pursue LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). That is so Rad.
