The Awatere River Wine Company is a family-owned winery with deep roots in the Awatere Valley. The Vavasour family has been growing grapes and making wine in this picturesque valley for over a century, and their passion for winemaking shines through with every bottle.
This wine is a prime example of the cooler climate Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Given its proximity to the ocean, grapes grown in the valley benefit from longer ripening periods, resulting in fresh flavours and complex fruit character that is more tropical in nature.
This wine is sustainably produced and is certified vegan, and so it can be enjoyed by everyone, whether you are plant-based or not. Cheers to that!
