ITS all about the ABCs....

Tastes like: Rich. Complex. Honey Suckle. Stone Fruit. Melon. Sweet Spices. Vanilla.

The Au Bon Climat winery was founded by Jim Clendenen, who has achieved wine god status in the trade for creating wines of the quality and complexity of some highly lauded burgundy Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Au Bon Climat is also one of those feel-good wineries that we love, which is really committed to sustainable viticultural practices.

This exquisite Chardonnay is produced from grapes picked from 25 year old vines in Santa Barbara County and has been subject to aging in French Oak, resulting in a rich and complex chardonnay. Expect a balanced mix of concentrated fruit flavours (like stone fruits and melon) and sweet spices, as well as a refreshing acidity and a captivating minerality.

This is also a staff favourite at Chilled & Tannin with one staff member making this her annual Christmas Eve party starter.
