This is a beautiful young and fresh white that is the perfect all-rounder. The Ad-hoc Thursday night BBQ or the cheeky glass with lunch on a sunny Saturday. It's bright and it's fruity much like Rhod after a few glasses.
The Castaño family has always been considered a pioneer in the area, certified organic and implementing sustainable practices, they have become a real jewel in the crown of southern Spain winemaking. So much so we now carry the Organic Red, White & Rose.
Macabeo is a hugely popular grape grown across Spain. Commonly found blended in Cava and white Rioja's, it's more recently proven itself a fabulous variety in its own right. On its own it best drunk young where the ravishes of time haven't dealt any blows.
