Bojador - a monster of a wine
Tastes like: Mango. Tropical Fruits. Mineral. Racy Acidity. Fresh. Textured.
This monster white wine comes from our chums at Bojador who produce their wines in Alentejo using time honoured methods and lower intervention, such as shunning nasty chemicals.
This refreshing but structured white wine is made using traditional, indigenous grape varieties Vaz, Arinto and Alvarinho, aged in concrete tanks.
The wines are named after Cape Bojador, located on the Moroccan coast. Medieval Portuguese sea captains wouldn't dare sail further south than this point due to scores of lost ships and stories of mythical sea monsters.
