It’s Only Laut’n’Roll But I Like It

Tastes like: Black Cherry. Raspberry. Spice. Sweet wood. Hint Eucalyptus. Racy Acidity. Soft Tannins.

Crowd-pleasing Pinot Noir at this price is certainly music to our ears… and so it’s rather fitting that this pucker Pinot is named after Romania’s traditional travelling folk musicians.

As far back as the 16th century these professional music makers were the rockstars of their time; touring the country and fiddling and fingering their lutes for the swooning village maidens.

And their music would always be accompanied by the imbibing of plentiful amounts of local red wine - the likes of which is finally getting some overdue recognition on international wine lists.

This wine is fuller-bodied than Burgundian and German styles and has some lovely concentration of red fruits and spice with velvety tannins.
