Rikus Neethling is a 'Less is more' kinda guy – something which is at the forefront of his vinification and viticulture philosophy and the result in wines with a real sense of place!
Rikus has sourced the best grapes from Paarl and Stellenbosch in order to produce this hand-crafted wine. The Sangiovese comes from warm-climate Paarl and gives the wine the red fruits while the Grenache and Mourvèdre add structure and depth to the wine.
It's quite a light Red with plentiful red fruits and pleasingly velvety tannins plus an earthy minerality and a good length. This canny blend is stonkingly good value and a bottle that you could enjoy with every meal.
