Sanama Reserva, Cachapoal Valley Merlot
This is MERLOT and certainly no MERLITTLE!
Tastes like: Damson. Vanilla. Prunes. Plummy. Soft Tannins. Round.
The Sanama wines come from the Santa Amalia vineyards, located on the generous alluvial soils of the Cachapoal Andes Valley. They are protected from the moderating influence of the Pacific Ocean by the coastal mountains, but the influence of the Andes ensures warm days and cool nights.
Chile has a rich wine history dating back hundreds of years and yet still offer some of the best value wine on the market. This bodacious bottle is no different. It is a wine that has a nicely defined and clearly expressed merlot character. Its made to be ripe and ready for drinking. Midweek banger or will hold it owns with any meaty feast.
