100% organic Monastrell, one of Spain's great native varieties, this one heralds from Bodegas Castaño. They are considered somewhat pioneers in this region and have come to symbolise the best of what southern Spain has to offer: rich, warm climate wines made from grapes grown at altitude with spectacular results.
The grapes come from 25-year-old bush vines, pesticide and agro-chemical-free.
This bottle has style and substance. Not only is it great to look at, but you will be delighted by what's inside. A rich and intense wine which is full of fruit. It manages all of this with finesse and has the perfect lifted finish. You will enjoy it. Enough said.
