Marsanne-Viognier, Chemin de la Serre, Vin de Pays d’Oc
The trade secret
Tastes like: Apricot. White peach. Apple. Floral. Herbaceous. Baking spice.
We are huge fans of the Languedoc and the endless possibilities that the Pays d'Oc appellation gives to producers.
With 56 grapes varieties to choose from, the region produces some brilliant and inventive wines which are mind-bogglingly good value and this is a prime example that punches well above its price point.
This fresh and frankly delicious white is a blend of Marsanne and Viognier; we've spotted this underdog wine on 'cartes des vin' at some rather swanky eateries.
Nice - drink it.

"A very floral and herbaceous nose with great freshness. It's a lovely clean wine with notes of angelica and sweet pastry, excellent length and great value too."
