Brothers at War, Pendee Farm, Cabernet Sauvignon
What’s the worst a little sibling rivalry could bring?
Tastes like: Rich. Blackberry. Cassis. Mocha. Violet. Lush
Brothers at War was created by two brothers that have Barossa wine in their veins. Following the legacy of their old man David Wardlaw (Barossa wine pioneer and all time legend), they set up a winery in their 20s that focuses on beautifully made wines from small parcels of exceptional fruit.
The Pendee Farm Cabernet represents a playful tussle between brothers, each trying to out do each other - but in many ways complimenting each other. At first taste, you might pick up on brooding notes of bramble fruit and mocha, which develops into a playful and cheeky twist of violets and sour cherry. Expect a long luscious finish and silky tannins.
