From our friends down the road, we have a wonderful sparkling Blanc de Noirs from the beautiful Ancre Hill winery.
Perfectly positioned on south facing slopes close to the border town of Monmouth in the Wye Valley the estate uses traditional Biodynamic and Organic viticultural practices to produce the best possible grapes with the upmost sustainability and respect for the vineyard’s ecology.
This stunning Blanc de Noirs is made from 100% Pinot noir and delivers exceptional refinement. Alex fell in love with it at a tasting in Ancre Hill and we just had to list it. Fermented in barrels, concrete egg and stainless steel with an elevage of over 12 months for the base wine.
