Pinot Noir, Take It To The Grave, Adelaide Hills
Dead Tasty
Tastes like: Cranberry, Strawberry. Sour Cherry. Liquorice. Sweet Spice. Rose. Mocha. Hint of Toast. Silky Tannins.
Life’s too short for bad Pinot and this Aussie example is so delicious you may have to prise the bottles from our dead fingers!
Coming from cooler growing plots around Adelaide Hills the grapes benefit from plentiful sunshine during the day and chilly nighttimes - resulting in a wine packed with fully developed character.
A smidgen of the wine is matured in oak with the rest in stainless steel giving it oodles of freshness but with a lick of oak influence.
Winemakers Nicolas Crampton and Ryan Corey have always found Pinot Noir’s evocative qualities haunting and having spent their careers perfecting their craft with this tricky grape variety they say they’ll take their secrets to the grave!
