This is a great wine. It's got so many good things going for it. Coming from the Co-op at Valpantena where they hand pick the grapes for this wine. It is also practising organic which is another reason to love it. The ancient Greeks used to call this area 'The Land of the Wine' and we can see why. It’s just a shame they spent all the budget on farming organically, picking the grapes by hand and then didn’t leave anything for a decent label.
This wine is a light lemon colour. It is a great blend of grapes. You get some of the classic Chardonnay flavours which sit along side the dryness of the Garganega. Personally its making me think of a blue bird day on the slopes of the Dolomites, with a nice cool glass to help the tired legs back onto the skis.
