Metic Cabernet Sauvignon, Colchagua Valley
Handy Andes...
Tastes like: Blackcurrant. Sour Cherry. Gooseberry. Cracked Black Pepper. Leafy. Bell Pepper. Soft tannins.
Another beautiful and mysterious wine that is crafted by a duo who scour the vast Chilean valleys and foothills hunting for top plots of sustainable, organically and biodynamically farmed old ungrafted vines - some of which are 120 years old.
It’s a low intervention stunner with oodles of bang for its buck. Eye-catching (literally) and thought provoking, yet super easy drinking - it’ll appeal to Cabernet Sauvignon fans who prefer their juice raw and unadulterated by the influence of oak.
The result is a fresh and crunchy wine which is medium bodied and great fun.
