When elderly parishioner, Cecilia Giménez, took it upon herself to 'touch up' the Ecco Homo fresco of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Borja she'd never have guessed her handiwork was going to be a world news sensation.

Local winemakers Bodegas Aragonesas were so taken aback by her brushwork that they used it to adorn the label for this equally sensational wine.

This crowd pleasing red is made using the best Garnacha dominant wines from local cooperatives which are then skilfully blended together and aged in oak. This approach is rather innovative and the results are a (brush) stroke of genius.
