Blaye is a prime example; located on the right bank of the Gironde River on the opposite side from the Medoc, this lesser known district produces red and white wines that represent incredibly good value and quality. And the reds are generally ready to drink young - so no need to lay your bottles down for decades either!

Château Peyronat is run by the husband and wife winemaking duo of Pascal and Isabelle Montaut, who take a sustainable approach to their craft and have organic certification for this vivacious Vin.

Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and without oak influence it’s fresh, fruity and ready to uncork.
