Zapallares Riesling Reserva, San Antonio Valley
Chilean & Tannin
Tastes like: Citrus. Green Apple. Grapefruit. Apricot. Mineral. Smoke. Racy Acidity.
Eat your heart out Europe, this sustainable Chilean Riesling gives many wines from Alsace and Germany a run for their money.
This fresh and perfumed wine is brimming with quintessential Riesling characteristics of citrus, grapefruit, apple and apricot and there’s even some of those delightful smoky, petrol twangs which this grape usually only develops with ageing.
It’s a dry Riesling - in keeping with Alsatian and Aussie examples - but there’s just a wisp of sweetness to keep you coming back for another sip.
Zapallares are proud to only use sustainable grapes in their wines whilst instilling a touch of Chilean charm to their juice. Incredible value and very tasty to boot.

Critic’s acclaim:
"Fresh and zesty with a vivid streak of lime. Much drier than rieslings you'll find from Germany or elsewhere in Europe, this would be great with ceviche and other raw seafood, or Mexican dishes such as tacos.
