La Cavea, Pinot Bianco/Garganega
Viva Vicenza
Tastes like: Yellow Apple. White Peach. Buttery. Fresh Bread. Honeysuckle. Bees Wax. Hay. Blossom. Round.
We are very fond of this cheeky vegan bottle. It’s stunning value. It may not be the most eye catching bottle but oh boy does the golden nectar inside make up for it. A beautifully rounded wine suitable for any occasion. A nice blend with Pinot Blanco and Gargenega. The later most commonly found is the famed Soave.
The name 'La Cavea' refers to the beautiful Roman architecture of Vicenza in northeastern Italy. Wine has been made in the hills around the region for centuries, and grapes like Merlot, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco were brought here by Napoleon at the beginning of the 19th century.
