Chateau Montlandrie 2015, Denis Durantou, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux (MAGNUM)
Anyone for Denis?
Tastes like: Blackberries. Cassis. Liquorice. Floral. Spice. Earthy. Silky Tannins. Full bodied.
This monster magnum comes from one of the legends of Bordeaux’s Right Bank.
This is one of the final vintages made under the watchful eye of the late, great Denis Durantou whose skills made Chateau L’Eglise Clinet in Pomerol one of the most sought after wines in the World.
But it was here in Castillon that Denis arguably flexed his creative muscles most and the 2015 Montlandrie is a structured and complex wine which has received unanimous critical acclaim.
65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet it’s a classic Bordeaux blend which will make any occasion all the more special.
These magnums are part of our LAID DOWN & TANNIN range and have come straight from the Chateau to mature in bonded storage. We’ve then released them ready for you to lay down yourself or uncork now.
